The left side of her face is adorned with many strange tattoes whose colors seem somewhat faded. Though it's quite obvious at some point these tattoes were bright vibrant colors, now they are simply fade red and blue (blue under her eye, red over it). There is also a ring of faded green tattoes around her right arm that match the ones on her face. They seem slightly tribal-esque, but don't particularly stick out as such.
While it is still unknown to any in Soul Society, a good deal of time ago Mizu lost her left leg in a battle. However, no-one could ever tell. Truth be told shortly after her misfortune she designed a nwe leg for herself, and get this, she did so in her sleep. The leg is metal and in all respects should be considered robotic. And somehow she maganed to devise a way to compeltely control the leg of her own will. If any one ever asks how it works she either claims that it's to complicated or that she only knows matenance because honestly, she doesn't remember how she made it. It is noteworthy however that the metal that forms the leg is highly durable and and take unimaginable ammounts of stress without breaking.[/ul]

~ Manifestation: An otter that while caable of walking on all fours, mainly stands on his hind legs. He has normal varients of brown fur color, puncuated by several dimly colors tattoes that match Mizu's, to some extent. The tattoo running from his nose to the back of his head and on the tip of his tail are red, around his eyes and on his shoulders are blue, and on his knees and hands are green.
~ Personality: He is always manifested on Mizu's shoulder, or is wandering about somewhere nearby. Be does not like to hang about in his sword form. He's pretty laid back and casual, but loves a good fight. His biggest downfall is that he tends to be pretty perverted, although he swears he is not. Because of his often deadly threats and actions in battle there's rumours that he is part dragon. You never want to catch this guy in a fight because even though he's small he packs a wallop and he tends to go a little crazy with bloodlust.
~ Element base: Water
~ Unreleased: Is more American or possibly even English in it's appearance, having a slightly broader glad at the end than near the hilt. About a fourth of the way down it's blade it has a slight spike. If the sword gets that far in something and then is torn back out it'd gonna cause some serious damage.

The sword does not seem to change at all in this form.
Shikai ability ~ Water weight
Anything cut by Mizu's zanpakuto in shikai has it's weight doubled. The sword reacts with H2O molecules within and oganism and doubles the weight of each molecule each time it is cut even in the slightest. So this would be if a 120 pounds human was cut by Mizu's zanpakuto their weight would now be 240. If they are cut again it increases to 480. etc. etc. This significantly reduces the enemies speed in most cases, and there are no outward effects.
Sub-abilities
Can form water 'sheaths' around her blade. From there when she swings the sword she can extend the water off the blade like a whip that can keep shape up to 20 yards away. The technique doesn't have a name.
For deffense in this form, by placing any ammount of reiatsu into the water around the sword she can create a sheild that blocks most attacks quite effectively. Sheild strength depends on how much energy she want's to use to form it.

~ Hakuda (white strike): Technique used in hand-to-hand combat. This type of combat often involves great danger because the shinigami is fighting unarmed.
~ Hohou (walking method): If a shinigami is attacking using hakuda, this technique is necessary to assist their movement. It is not a direct offensive technique, however, it can be used to gain the upper hand in a zanpakutou battle. If this technique is mastered, the shinigami will be able to make high speed movements that can't be traced by the eye. (Adds half spirit power to speed)
~ Shyunpo (Flash Step): A high speed technique that allows the user to travel long distances with their spiritual power. As the name states its done within a step. Is said to be an extremely hard skill to learn and master to those below captain level.

After the first line of the incantation, a swirling ball of riatsu appears in the diamond, and with the next line, it begins swirling in two directions at once as it grows. With the final lines, the energy expands into a beam, hitting and piercing the target as it does so. The riatsu causes some splash damage, but the major effect is a hole in its target.
Incantation: “Swirl in the glittering dust… Glitter in the Swirling Sands… Pierce the shattering wind! Way of Destruction #11! Kongou Rasen!”
~ Hadou #13: Viper Strike: This blasting spell requires the user to get close to the opponent, as it charges the energy within the palm. The user then jabs their hand against the opponent, thus injecting the energy into the opponent's body. The attack tears the opponents from the inside, unless they can focus out the foreign energy.
~ Hadou #15: Tenshiyaiba - Angel Blade: Focusing Spirit Pressure into the palm of a hand or both, the user releases a bunch of small waves of white cutting energy, by moving his hands in front of him at a high speed.
~ Hadou #26- Shugo Ryuu Kougi (Guardian Dragon Justice): Using both hands to focus the Spirit Pressure in front the chest, it releases a Giant blast of energy, in the shape of a white dragon, and it will follow the target for about 30 sec before it explodes in a flaming glory.

~ Bakudou #30- Amatsu Kushi (Heavenly Skewers): With the phrase, “Shimmer in the morning light…“ the caster points above and to the left of the target, representing the eastern sunrise. Then, with the phrase, “Fade into the evening sky…“ they move their hand to above and right of the target, representing the western sunset. With, “Fall From Heaven’s Glory…“ they point their finger directly above the target, and finally they point directly at the target and complete the incantaction with, “Way of Binding #30! Amatsu Kushi!“ Upon casting, nine rays of golden light fall from the sky, converge on, and pierce the target: One in each arm, one in each leg, one in each shoulder, one in each thigh, and finally one in the stomach. The target is pierced by the nine golden rays of light, causing no damage, but is pinned in place, unable to move until the spell is either overpowered via riatsu or dispelled via kidou. ~Incantation: “Shimmer in the morning light...fade into the evening sky...Fall from Heaven's Glory... Way of Binding #30! Amatsu Kushi!”[/ul]
